Fausto Orli da Rosa is a photographer in love with photography since his teenage years, when he used to play with his father's old cameras, such as, Yashica, Zenit, Polaroid, Pentax... He says, once his father wanted to give him an Yashica compact camera, but Fausto refused the gift, because he considered it too small, which he regrets until today. After this episode, years have gone till Fausto got to buy his first camera, a digital Olympus.
About 11 years ago, he decided to take this passion a more seriously, investing in the acquisition of books, research, tutorials, beyond buying professional equipment and accessories to improve his work.
Although Fausto photographs everything he finds intersting, he tends to focus on landscapes of its region and trips. His photos have been published in magazines as Fotografe and National Geographic.
The photography of landscapes is a noble branch of photography which involves the total cognition of your equipment, study of the spots to be photographed, adventure spirit and also some luck.
Nowadays where image editing and manipulation softwares are getting popular, he relates that a good photography is one in which the photographer gets through his camera and his technique to reproduce the best way the experienced moment minimizing the use of post processing.
